I wanted to be a teacher since I was 16 years old. After getting my BA and MA I sub taught for a year and then taught for the 7 years after that. After teaching in Reno for 3 years, I worked for Silver State Charter Schools for 5 years, creating and building The Silver State Stars Theater program, which involved not only the student body, but many members of the community. I was on the Board for PPI and Nevada State Thespians for 2 years. My experience includes all things theatrical, specializing in directing and teaching. I am now a stay at home mom and teach part-time at the local college doing Language Arts for the High School Equivalency Program. I have tutored students age 5-22 in various subjects for many years.
